This could lead to the further spreading of fake news, but with what is seemingly real evidence behind it. The power to make another individual appear as if they are saying something he or she has never said holds a lot of power , especially in your media driven society. On the flip side, this emerging technology is powerful and shows the creativity and ability of those who developed it. Putting too many restrictions and legislation addressing this technology would hinder creativity and border on affecting freedom of expression. Because of this there is a fine line when discussing how to address this type of media.
