With the concerns regarding the Coronavirus rapidly spreading world wide, there is a wealth of misinformation being distributed as well. The virus is not nearly s deadly as the media portrays it to be. The fatality rate is around 2% which is much lower than a pathogen such as the Ebola virus who caused a similar scare a few years ago. Ebola has an estimated facility rate of 50% as described in a Forbes article. This is only one of a number of false headlines regarding the virus. Others include theories that the virus is a hoax as a response for any various societal problem among others.
